Deputy commander of the Western Liberators and Ceres's trusted confidante. Her warm, cheerful smile keeps the troops from crumbling, though those who know her best find that smile deeply terrifying.

Deputy commander and chief administrative officer of the Western Liberators. Acting as the diplomatic cushion to Ceres's iron fist, she keeps the organization running smoothly and prevents command from turning into a tyrannical grind. With her immaculate efficiency and gentle demeanor, Lydia is adored by refugees and soldiers alike. Yet behind closed doors, veteran fighters whisper that Lydia is ten times more terrifying than Ceres could ever be. Ask them to explain why, however, and they pale in terror and refuse to say a word. Beneath that radiant smile lies an abyss nobody wants to cross.
